Minimum Host Requirements to obtain Sponsorship

To be the host of Sponsored Competition, player must meet the following requirements:

1. Minimum level in the game - 80

2. To have 2K followers on Twitch or 5K subscribers on YouTube

3. To have a sufficient number of views, determined individually

The default reward tier assigned is 2 (20, 10 and 5 baitcoins for according places and 5 bc's Team reward).

The Fishing Planet team reserves the right to make a decision on granting (or not granting) Sponsorship based on its own reasons.

Sponsored UGC Creating and Holding Rules

• Assign Sponsored Competitions in advance, at least 6 hours before start.
   

• Approval of the Sponsored Competition can take up to 24 hours.
   

• Remember that the total amount of Sponsored Competitions on every platform is limited to 5 per 24 hours.
   

• Private Sponsored Competitions with the password are prohibited!
   

• The declared number of participants in the Sponsored Competition cannot be less than 50.
   

• One host can create only one Sponsored Competition per 24 hours.
   

• The number of players on each team in the team Sponsored Competition must be the equal or close. Use the BALANCE button. If you violate this rule, your Sponsorship can be revoked.
   

• WARNING! Due to the Fishing Planet EULA you can use only one account on every platform for all competitions and tournaments! If you violate this rule, all your accounts can be banned.

To get the 3-rd reward tier (100, 50, 20 bc and 10 Team), player must have a video channel with more than 5K followers on Twitch or (and) 10K subscribers on YouTube.
Also, player’s channel should have a sufficient amount of content about the Fishing Planet game and a sufficient number of views.

To get free DLC for giveaways in streams, player must have a video channel with more than 5K followers on Twitch or (and) 10K subs on YouTube and enough views.
Besides, to get free DLC for giveaways, player needs to capture at least 5 Fishing Planet videos or streams with a sufficient number of views a month.

To obtain a license to host Sponsored User Generated Competitions, players must submit an official Application Form, which can be accessed at: https://forms.gle/TGFEZRsdDMikZzQRA

Applications that do not contain all the required information will not be considered.

The rules for creating and hosting of the Sponsored User Generated Competitions change from the moment the announcement is published on the official game forum and on social media channels.

Sponsorships, all award tiers, and all options previously granted to players will remain intact under the new rules.

We’re finally rolling out the much awaited feature. Now, you can create and customize Sponsored Competitions based on your own preferences.

Aside from standard User Competitions, there will be easily recognized by the distinctive golden design of the following elements:

• Logo frame
• Icon for the competition format
• Competition name

These competitions have some special characteristics:

• Only a Hosts appointed by the game devs may create Sponsored Competitions.
• Once created, such events get checked by the Administrator before publishing.
• These competitions have unique names and are always shown at the top of the event list.
• Devs may assign sponsor rewards for these competitions.

Sponsored Competitions will pose a particular interest for the more advanced sport anglers, being a perfect chance to compete against equally worthy opponents and win valuable prizes!

If you're an influencer and want to create your own competition, please contact sс@fishingplanet.com with information about your channel (the direct link needed), the platform you play and your nickname in Fishing Planet and they will provide you all the information needed.

To create a Custom Competition, simply push CREATE and then either adjust all of the desired parameters in the competition settings menu or choose one of the preexisting competition templates.

Once you complete that step, you’ll find yourself in the Lobby of your newly created Custom Competition, while the event itself will be published in the list of competitions to be seen and joined by other players.

Competition Lobby is the place where players can look through the event details and chat with other participants.
At the time of the event, there will be a count-down followed by the start of the competition. All players who confirmed their participation (READY button) may then begin competing. Players that fail to confirm and are holding up the other participants, may be excluded from the competition by the Host. In case of pre-scheduled starts, all players who have not submitted their confirmation will be excluded automatically once the competition begins.

The Lobby for Team Competitions will be somewhat different, featuring a list of players divided according to their teams. The competition Host may personally assign players to their teams.

The Host’s authority pretty much ends there. Once the competition begins, the Host will participate on the same grounds as all the other players, having no further advantages.

It’s been a while since we last shared with you what we are working on. Today we’d like to talk about new functionality that is waiting for you in the upcoming release in the first half of November. This time we prepared for you a new type of Fishing Planet’s competitive events called Custom Competitions.

Unlike all regular (automated) competitions, Custom Competitions are User Generated Competitions and will be created by the anglers themselves. Players will also be able to fine-tune and adjust the multiple settings of these events, including rules, locations, time schedules, and participants.

We designed a whole array of new tools to make it more comfortable for you to create and host just the perfect angling competitions and set numerous parameters to your preferences:

• Templates - players can either choose from one of the preexisting competitive templates, or create a completely new competition.
• Formats - there will be a number of formats for user competitions, depending on the type of competition:

             Free For All - players aim at getting the highest personal score.

            Team Competition - participants are divided into two teams, and each player aims at getting the highest total team score.

             Duel - a one-on-one competition format.

• Privacy:

            Open competition - the event is open to anyone.

            Private competition - the event is password protected.

• Entry Fee - competition fee for those who wish to participate.
• Initial Prize Pool - the amount of reward that the competition Host sets for the prize.
• Waterway for hosting the competition.
• Player LVLs that are admissible for participation.
• Maximum number of participants.
• Setting for Duration and Start of the competition.

            Manual Start - competition begins after the Host starts it manually.

            Scheduled Start - competition begins automatically at a set time.

• Game Time/Weather tuning.
• Qualifying Fish.
• Count of score points - either total fish caught or fish in the Keepnet.
• Set of score keeping Rule sets.
• Tackle Types that are required to use in order to earn score.
• Choice of admissible equipment.

Sponsored Competitions

Aside from standard User Generated Competitions, in the future there will also be Sponsored Competitions. These competitions have some special characteristics and might have unique sponsor rewards.

A new Custom Competitions menu will be added to the game interface that’ll feature a convenient list of all the user competitors both available and already played.

New Complex Rigs with new types of terminal tackle:
Rigs. Yep, now you can use rigs with your spinning and casting rods: Texas Rig, California Rig. Three-way Rig and Flipping Rig- all to enhance your fishing experience!;)

Three-Way Rig

One of the most well-known and simplest rigs, the three way rig features a three-way swivel that has separate attachment points for the main line, sinker and the leader. Easy to set up, the three way rig provides smooth rotating and eliminates line twists. Particularly efficient for going after predators like Catfish, Trout, Pike or Bass.

Texas Rig

The Texas rig is one of the easiest and most effective ways to use soft plastic baits for bass fishing. Just slide some weights on the line, tie on a hook, thread on a soft plastic bait, like a plastic worm, tube or craw and you’re ready to catch some big bad bass!
