I cast beyond that ripple and catch trophey and unique fish all the time. That's the only area on that map that has that effect.

I always took it as nothing more than an animation to prettify the game, just like the scattering fish in the salty delta.

I am posting here because I just can't leave this waterway! So, here is what I wanted to say. Thank you for a brilliant game and generous community! The depth of the game astounds me. Just spent the morning session in North Carolina snagging largemouth with the popper and netted three trophy bass in the process. Still haven't chased uniques and right now I am taking a break, setting up for a night session with the big cats. Best of luck, and again, thank you to the devs and the community.

A very well thought out and presented reply, a rarity on open forums and you have instantly earned my respect. Why did I mention it? Everyone knows about pike alley, but it isn't really that profitable given the timescale involved. For example, with my 330lb keepnet filled I will make 27k on pike. Take away travel costs and for arguments sake, 1 day extension and that's 12 grand. So for one day I will make 15k. And it can take a long time to fill a 330lb keepnet there due to the amount of jacks of 10lb or less. My method, one real life hour, I cleared 40k. That's not including travel and extensions. So why did I mention it? To let people know it's there and available to all I suppose. I won't reveal it in public because it will spoil the game for people who are just enjoying themselves and it will ruin their experience. It most certainly isn't a case of me thumbing my nose at everyone. I have helped a lot of people both on and off this forum and am very forthcoming with information and help. Up until this point I have kept nothing from anyone as I'm sure several here will attest...unless they have the hump because I won't tell them this one ;-) I'm just pointing out that there is a way to make all the money you'll ever need, if...if, you think about the process involved. Going somewhere for one day only is the worst mistake we have all made. And there's a hint right there. A baitcoin or two comes in handy too but isn't essential. Aktorsyl, I have Cali dialled and can make a lot there. But this is better. I'll trade you a uni striped bass for my method...because try as I might I cannot get that one. Same with carp, and I know exactly how and where to catch those!

I just assumed the streams I saw were done w/ only basic Ps4 streaming, tho ya know the ole saying about assuming lol. Now I'm wondering if it's only FP that has the issue, other game streams I've seen may have been using external recording equipment as well. Quite possible it's a PSN issue & not an exclusively FP issue. Either way hopefully they do fix whatever the issue is for the dedicated streamers.
