Probably a wise suggestion due to the disruption in the community this topic has produced. Five plus mods in silence. We should be having fun and fishing together as a community, not pissing all over each other.

I am not a moderator in this forum, but I am and have been a Tester since Alpha started on this game. Having said that, I can assure you that there is no where in this game that by design, you are able to fill a 330 lb. keepnet in 2 hours. Therefore, whether you admit it our not, you have found and are using an exploit to build your in game currency. Not only using, but privately sharing with others how this exploit works. Doing so, you are in direct violation of the EULA and Terms of Service for the game. If moderators were doing their job, this thread would have been locked on the very first post, and you should have been warned to not share, and encouraged to report said exploit to developers, so it could be corrected. I just found out from another tester, that you have been reported for the violation, and I would encourage you to not continue in the direction you are going, but report to support the exploit so it can be corrected. I just hold the retrieve button on speed 2. If I have a follower like you did I change to speed 1 while continuing to reel. 99% of the time they bite the instant you hit the down button. If they don't strike instantly I click it back to speed 2 and they strike then. I've tried pausing when I have a follower and it didn't seem to work or at least anywhere near as well.

How I discovered a lot of hidden channels in this game that hold significant fish is by using various depth crankbaits - when I’m rolling along and that crankbait suddenly floats up in the middle I have a pretty good idea that it’s a drop off. It’s the closest thing to a depth finder we have on this sim.

Thanks, I feel my accessory acquisition syndrome kicking in. Either going shopping or to therapy. Some of the lower links seemed to go elsewhere. Outdated or event packs perhaps?

Haters gonna hate. I love how the fact that I said I would share with anyone level 38 or over has been disregared/ignored. Bear, totally understand your views, which is why I initially kept it to myself ( I didn't figure it out until level 40 ). I didn't want to risk spoiling the game for anyone, but after some thought I decided that once someone has reached level 38 there are no more venue unlocks and people have done all the hard work on their own, so there's nothing left to spoil really. If I can give people a way to make money easily to stay at a comfortable cash level in the game, I see no harm. However, I believe that it would spoil the game for the majority of lower ranked players, hence me asking for proof of game level and not making it public. Which I believe is the responsible thing to do. Totally understand and respect your views dude. I've had a really busy day but will get on to replying to everyone shortly. The one person I have told so far has confirmed my findings and discerned the exact reason why it works. CTX, thanks dude. I hold you in a similar regard. If you had, you would have seen that the reason I witheld it was due to it being a major game spoiler for lower levels due to being able to make 3 times the money a full net on pike alley gives, in a third of the time. There are no glitches etc being used, and I've dropped plenty of clues. All I'm doing is using common sense and picking up on an ingame feature everyone seems to have missed. Bottomfeeder. Your views barely warrant any sort of response as all you do is slate the game. And your opinion of me is meaningless, but one thing I assure you is that you will never be told this by myself or the friends I share it with. Enjoy pike alley.
