    The update fixed the reel speed issue for me but still does it in the menu's. And now I can't adjust the pitch of my rod stand.

    You got spooled. The game didn't glitch out, you ran out of line. Tarpon will pull up to 200m of line out on you pretty easy if you get a trophy or unique with a lighter setup.
