Couldn't figure out Lure fishing

Hey guys (excuse my bad English)

I have a bit of problem with the lures... I equip a spinning rod with one good reel (I think) I put 0.18m line (this one is in the rod case) and when I try to equip a lure it automatically removes the line and tells me line must be equipped first... Any help, I guess I am not doing something right.

Bug.. Restart the game..

Sometimes when i trying to equip line, game automaticlly remove my rod and tell me i have to equip rod first to equip line. just restarting helps. =)

wow, thank you... They should fix it though... I thought I had to put something more specific I tried smaller, bigger, silver, gold nothing worked Thank you very much! Last night it bugged again but with the HUD, you know where you see how much bait you have left, bars for line, reel e.t.c. restarting helped :))

Same for me, a restart was the only way around it I could find. Doesn't happen often, but when it does it's a pain.

you shouldn't have to restart the game when this happens for a workaround try equipping whatevers stuck, then unequipping, then reequipping again. usually works then.

That's the problem - you try to equip a line/lure/whatever, and the rod disappears. So you re-equip the rod and try again, with the same result ad infinitum.

Sometimes, certain items just won't equip. Not a gamebreaker as it only takes a minute to restart. Just annoying, like the disappearing line bug while actually fishing.

Try this. Once the rod disappears the first time, go back to rod and hit x to put it in loadout again. Then go to left side highlight rod and press x to unequip it. Then equip it again and try adding the reel and stuff. I know this works when the reel disappears trying to add line. I'm only level 28 with 3 rods so I haven't had a rod disappear from loadout yet. Something about unequipping it resets the gear though and allows it to go through after. Worth a shot.

I just leave home screen go to the map ill fish at and assemble there

you need to move the item to your inventory, if it is in your "home" for some reason it will not equip

no, it was a bug. After that I didn't have any problem

Use to tell me that too. "Reel must be equipped first" when putting line on. Equiping and unequiping the equipping reel again usually worked.
