If the PS4 gets the event does anyone have an idea of when it will begin and how long it will last?

Yea, the email I got just said event fish will be active Halloween week, but that there'd be an announcement before. They just added baits early to give everyone a chance to stock up before kickoff.

You have to buy them using baitcoins. They're only available at the local stores at the lakes that will house the event fish. I know North Carolina and Louisiana. I believe they're also available in Florida.

Bought alot to be safe. Tried boat fishing on pc today. Want it so bad for ps4 now.

Yea, for ps4 the baits are only in N.C., Fla. & Louisiana local shops. *Assuming* the fish will only be active at those locations as well.

Pigs eyes - 4 baitcoins x 5 baits,

Rotten minnows - 5 baitcoins x 5 baits.

I was after a unique gar in NC and just couldn't get any bites on the normal crawfish I was using. I figured I'd give the rotten minnows a try. First cast, and 2 seconds after it hit the water....no nibbling, just BAM! Landed the biggest unique gar I had caught from there. I'd say the event baits work well.

Thanks a lot for that info, it never dawned on me they would cost BCs until this thread and I didn't want to spend travel money to travel somewhere only to find out I couldn't afford the bait.

For the Steam/PC members, there is also the option of the Monster Night Pack DLC . Not sure if the PS4 members have a store to purchase items of this nature. Might be worth a look though.

Yea ps4 has dlc packs for sale in the psn store, though the Monster Night pack has yet to be added. It's *possible* they'll add it in an update before the event kicks off.

The Night Monster pack and several other DLC packs will be released to PS4 on Tuesday the 24th with the event patch per their Facebook page.

They already Released the patch all they are doing is turning it on.

Is there a significance to the glowing eyes or are they just there to be spooky. So far got 4 bluegill skeletons and a 36lb green far in North carolina.

By results of two days 24 fish have been caught, thus I threatened almost all weekend. Lots about one fish per hour of real time, not a game. And for ordinary large pieces of fish in general for the game night did not catch anything. I catch cannibalistic greens on Neyerin. I ask the fishermen to chat. All without exception are very unhappy with such a rare biting. 100 fish to catch, you need about 100 hours in the game to sit, horror! I catch on dead mice. There is still such that the fish will bite a little and stop, this is why? This generally does not occur with any fish in the game. Given the fact that you are buying bait and so for betokoyny, that is, pouring real money? It's a really VERY dismal occupation to catch one fish per hour .... Wash the time in the game tried after every caught fish. I changed the places of the lover and asked people in the chat room, I watched the YouTube. By the way, compared to the version on the PC of the bugs, it is clear that it is VERY zanerflen. That's just why? The result is generally disappointing. Where is the fun of this fishing? To fulfill the quest for a "vest of a psychopath you need to sit before blueing ... Forgive me, but there is not so much free time for normal people and apparently the waistcoats will get to the truth and psychopaths ...
