Halloween Event

We have it for 13 days, I'm sure it'll be a nice distraction! Seeing people catching the skeletal bluegill in N.C, trying to find the gar at the mo.

I've currently got the 2nd biggest Green Ogre Gar on the boards, just tried for about 3 hours to find a Black Vampire Gar in Louisiana to no avail. I really just want a hat lol.

Louisiana may be a challenge as theybwere in Missouri on PC, so legwork or teamwork needed.

can they be caught by ordinary baits and lures? i asked bec i cant spend my few baitcoins for this the fact that i cant purchase any baitcoins  from pstore (accoubt region asia) :(

Any good tips on where to look? Very familiar w/ N.C. & Fla., only been to La. once but know a good Alligator Gar spot (if it's even same for Black Vampire). Though haven't fished for Gar at other 2 locations at all.

I tried every single peg last night. Anything that looked like it might even remotely hold gar. I tried all depths 20-30 inches. All retrieves and tricks that I know, all 3 halloween baits and even normal gar baits. Nada.

There have only been two caught so far on the boards, so I'm guessing they're difficult to find.

I've put in some legwork, so looks like we'll need teamwork to locate them.

The Alligator gar spots don't produce the Vampires. I tried them last night. People were catching loads of Alligators still, but no vampires.

I caught a 31 kg black vampire gar today at the catfish spot. Used large cutbait so u guys can use that 2

130 cm. Was fishing for catfish so i guess i was just lucky =)

I have no idea this morning I had a pumpkin loading icon and now it's gone. Trying to contact the devs with no reply. I'm not spending 5 coins on bait if I can't catch the halloween fish.

I just joined NC, scrolled up chat to see who had caught what and see your comment, although you've left. People were catching them this morning but it seems to have gone. Waiting for the DLC to go live in the store perhaps?

This Gar O Ween event is joke! Pay DLC for skins that dont do anything? Yea, claim to make game realistic and going to add garbage. 

I would rather see an ice fishing dlc with new maps without a price tag. 

How long in beta? .......Two years and game has bugs that probably wont ever get fixed and people going to give them money for putting in fake fish. (yea the wack fish is free but not the tackle)

The PSN store doesn't usually update for another 1-2 hrs in my region (Eastern, US) & sometimes they're even later than that.

Alright, well let's break this down....

It's a free event, which is meant to be fun. It's free, you don't have to buy the DLC. You can even get free rewards for catching enough of the event fish, that you don't even have to have their event baits to catch. Who cares if they're realistic or not? They're temporary and fun, and it's a halloween theme.

Oh so you complain about the game, yet you want them to make new maps for a game that you don't even like, FOR FREE. No compensation for the Devs? Nice logic there slappy. They do plan on releasing new maps and even european waters soon. As per the Devs " Right now, we are actively working on bottom fishing, feeders, as well as British and European waterways. We already finished a new aquatic complex in Great Britain called the Weeping Willow Lakes and are currently working on Dutch and German waterways. We’ll soon show you a sneak peak of the new location and + 40 European fish species. However, we plan to release all of these features (European ponds and Bottom fishing) together, as one complex update. "

The game has very few bugs, and the ones it does have aren't game-breaking. They even recently fixed some bugs that people were having and compensated the community for their errors. More than generous. Regarding the fake fish, they're all fake fish. If you don't like the game, go grab a REAL rod and reel and fish for your REAL fish.

No, people like you who go onto forums and troll/slate developers of a free game that you don't have to pay for and absolutely do not have to play are what is ruining the gaming industry. If you want better content more towards what you desire for the game, show some respect for the developers, maybe even buy a DLC to support them. They need to get paid too. Possibly try cordially speaking with them and making suggestions that are constructive.

 

I've seen you on post after post bashing this game. If you don't like it, don't play and it and just go away.
