I was struggling with the Ghost Pike in Texas - I'd get one or two and then it'd go dead for hours.

Went up to Alberta and they're very easy to get there, I'm flying through them now.

Went fast in NY with everything but the silicon spider. Cast at the uni pickeral spot 3 speed stop n go middle of water.

I did that several times Sabi, as well as reboots. It was always the same routine - get a couple and then it'd go dead.

I've almost finished them now at Alberta.

Glad you've found a spot that works for ya V, best of luck on a speedy finish!

Well folks completely out of event baits & only 48 baitcoins left so here's to hoping my remaining pumpkins hold only good event baits, instead of maggots, frogs, nooses & jaw bones (all of which are useless for the event lol). Guess it's good thing there's a few days left & that I've enjoyed the community collaborating for the benefit of all, otherwise I'd be really disappointed in this event.

Trying to fast forward to peak times and it always auto skips to morning! I guess those extra baitcoins I supposedly got will come in handy.

Happened to me a couple of times in LA, but it was when I tried to check on my cooldown timer. Since then I've been ignoring the peaks since some fish are after midnight anyway. I also stop fishing at 4:55 am and advance right through the next day to either nine or midnight without getting a timer. It'll add up time during the day, but once you hit nine it goes back to zero again.

Yeah, i'm aware of the timer at night. It skips every time I press square. Can't even go from night to night. Longstanding issue that was supposedly fixed.

Wow, that blows. Weird thing is this never happened to me until after it was "fixed".

I did mine in NY to me it was a lot easier and cheaper to go to the next night.  Didn't try Alberta.

I got all the ogres pretty quick last night, so it's off to the dreaded bluegills. I've got 13 total so far, 11 last night and 2 this morning after the pumpkin run. Mostly using a #2 hook at 13, 22, and 66 inches I got one or two at best on candy, and a few on bloodworms, but get this; 6 out of 13 so far were on guess what???.... Moldy Cheese!

Not sure if I'm on to something, but I caught 5 last night out of 15-20 baits, then found 5 in a pumpkin this morning and caught one more out of those 5. I don't know if they're cheaper than candy or not, but I'm thinking of buying a bunch and see how it goes.

Tried the sour bread too, but gave up on that after a handful of casts with no luck.

I think I confirmed my suspicions about peak times. I was catching albinos on a night with the peak that's highest at 9:00, then drops a little and levels out at 12:00, then drops to the bottom at 2-2:30. It seemed kind of slow going through most of the night, caught maybe 10 or 12 or so and I was just about to skip to the next night when I caught one at 2:40 ish, so I threw another cast. Suddenly things picked up and I caught one just about every cast with the last one being at 4:45, when I should have been catching nothing according to the peak graph. I ended up with 18 for the night.

I thought this might help for those trying to do the 100 gar challenges.

Advance time is still skipping to morning for me, but I don't think it's costing me a baitcoin because when I try to skip to 9:00 again, I have to wait, my cooldown timer is still running. I think it only happens when I have a timer running, so now I keep track of when it ends with the clock on my phone.

Reply received from Support staff about the Halloween underwater items (noose, bones, chains, etc...) . Apparently those items will only be used next Halloween & will return; so if inventory space is an issue we can toss them & just find/recieve them at a later time. Unless inventory space isn't an issue, then I suppose keeping them would give folks a headstart on next years missions. Personally I plan on tossing all but 1 of each type, lol that opens up close to 50+ (so far) item slots for me.

The curse of the Frankenfish is the best event ever in Fishing Planet I wish in future.

Thank you

Christmas event was the one that brought everyone together, this Halloween one isn't a multiple person thing. Aside from chat on here of course, it was very much a solo affair.

They hit the jackpot last Christmas. Nothing will ever compare to that, we all banded together, did what we needed to do, spent money, then spent money to help other people.

I have never seen so many players in any game so devoted to each other and willing to do what was needed as I did in the Xmas event. It was a team effort, and wow, did we all team up.

The Halloween event is tailored to individual players. That's not a bad thing at all, but last Christmas' event beats it hands down.

I really liked the missions for events idea much more fun than fishing 1 or 2 special event fish over and over . I hope they make it so people who dont have alot of hours per day can finish but not so easy everyone is done in 3 days. It would be excellent if the event mission could envolve others to make it easier to complete (fireworks like last year) .
