KYLEROBZ Posted January 16, 2019 Report Posted January 16, 2019 (edited) I never fish texas anymore but when i was there for ghost pike haloween time i was getting bass constantly even using the huge haloween lures. So yes id say it could even possible to be better night time for them. Again not certain as i never fish tex anymore but all other locations and other species of bass including spotted at louisiana fish extreamly well nights Edited January 16, 2019 by kylerobz Quote
KYLEROBZ Posted January 16, 2019 Report Posted January 16, 2019 Just a heads up if youre the same person that is asking on syeam forum you dont need night time lure if you dont want. All lures work day and night some will work better than other ( some times) that is all Quote
Mousaka_H Posted March 4, 2019 Report Posted March 4, 2019 I have caught spotted bass at night. They seem to be picky though but during the peak times you can get them with a black narrow spoon stop and go retrieve on 2 speed at roughly mid depth. Can also do typical stop and go off the bottom or lift and drop on 2 speed. Also can do slow retrieve on 1 speed and twitch spoon here and there. I have also got them on the glow and the dark 2/0 crank bait on slow retrieve at one speed. Hope this helps. Quote
