marker buoys

with the new distances involved in fishing its very hard to see the marker buoys in the distance especially at night so you could have 2 types marker buoys 1 that glow for night and 1 diffrent colour for day maybe so can see it

I like the idea of glowing buoys. Or a blinking light or something. Would be great for the longer distances - especially when there's a lot of mist.

Interchangeable colours sound great, too! Some of the lakes are filled with buoys if you played the game for a while. Would be cool to make the alligator ones blue, the catfish ones green, the flathead ones red and so on.

Maybe just add a menu to the buoys. Choose the colour, and turn on / off the (blinking / glowing) light.

ok, 2 things on the marker buoys

but first, i agree with both of you

1 - i would like to see a bigger capability of showing info "on-screen". Right now, you can rename the buoy, but is limited to 15 or 20 characters.

In my case, rename them with: hour, type of weather, air temp & depth

But with the new carp update, i require more info: bait, ground bait, hooks, leaders, mix here, mix there, spod mix, etc, etc. (water temp and wind direction)

Ok, i know, take PEN & PAPER and write it down......... i think by now, we all have our notes (a mess of papers all over the place, or different pc/mobile phone files/photos)

and 2nd......

i would like to see an in-game future that, when at" HOME", you can see a list of the buoys with all desired info on the different lakes, not so much the location of the buoy but the info that we write down there, in order to prepare, in advance at "HOME" 

I understand that the "TABLET" can only be brought up at the location, but the info of these buoys, would be awesome to access this info from "HOME".

side-note: i know you can rename the mix, but still ........

Yeah, I like that. Used to rename it with weather, time, and depth, too. I guess for starters it'd help if the game would automatically save and display the weather conditions and in-game time? Not too sure about the ground bait / feeder mix, though. 200g this, 200 g that, 50 g this.. That'd be a lot of info to cramp into that small window..

But I agree, a little more info - the more the better - would be nice!

I haven't noticed a limit on characters, I set this one this morning and when I highlight it on the tablet everything is there, just not when I click on it.

"Uni Grass Carp Sunny 68° 7pm #6/0 hook bottom rod 42 leader"   69 characters including spaces (PS4).

i was going to make a topic but saw this and figured id write here.It would be a nice feature to be able to place markers where the fish actually hit  at.Especially on floating or lure fishing.I caught a fish just a few feet in front of me and when i set a marker it set it where i first threw the lure at and not where i actually got the hit and caught it.

Just a reminder. Differently colored buoys - maybe even flowing ones for the night and cloudy conditions (NL and quanchkin comes to mind) would be great!

One thing that has changed since this thread is the number of characters for marking a buoy are now very limited.

Just another reminder. Differently colored buoys would be absolutely amazing. Wish I could make all Lake Trout markers in White Moose red, Atlantic Salmon green. This would be super helpful.

Next reminder coming up in 2 years from now

And just in case you guys have already been working on the idea: a filter would be nice, too! Like an option to hide all red / green / whatever buoys, in case you have set up your buoy colors categorized by fish, and just wanna show pike buoys for the pike tourney
