Casting only 10 meters

From the shop tab (at home) you can select the rod tab and then select the rod type Match rods.  You can generally tell what type of rod it is by the range name (i.e. the Telefloat, Caesar and Troy range are all telescopic rods).  There are four little boxes in a square at the bottom right of the rod description, check that the reel has the same green boxes as the rod.

For a Level 9 setup you might consider a lvl 9 Omnifloat 450 ($2100), a lvl 8 CrucianHunter 3000 ($3710) and some lvl 7 mono 0.2 mm line ($210) upgrading to mono 0.23 mm as soon as possible.  Get a Chubby float, some #10, #2 and #1/0 hooks. Some low level baits like bread, dough, red worms, grasshoppers, crickets and for the 1/0 hooks petfood, small cutbait and small minnows. Don't buy too much, just see what works and at what depth (catfish like to hang around in holes, check your Map).

A ValueSpin 260 ($1950) is a good low level rod, same reel and line as above will work. Try using a Narrowspoon 7g #1/0 ($260) for bass or trout, or a Casting Spoon 7g 1/0 ($170) for pickerel (and pike).

Good hunting.

#6 would be ok, but a #1/0 (or even better a 2/0) is more likely to stop the smaller ones taking your bait (bigger fish), try the line leader length at full depth, if the float is sitting flat the bait is on the bottom, meaning your not fishing in the hole or the water is not deep enough. Either shorten the leader length until the float is sitting upright or try finding deeper water. The Y button should bring up the map for you so you can see where the deeper areas are. Hope this helps.

There is a bit of a size difference between a #2 and #2/0 hook, #2/0 is the bigger one. Yes, the dark blue areas are where you want to target but I don't think you'll be able to reach the middle, there is a nice little hole not to far from the shoreline in front of the house at Texas which you should be able to reach without too much trouble.

Can't tell you as I'm away from home atm, you'll have to bring up the map where there should be a option to place a marker, select that (it may ask to place marker for last fish, reply no), now move the cursor over the hole (zoom in for accuracy) and place the marker. Now you should have something to aim at when making your cast. Note : markers can be deleted and reused elsewhere (you just have to be on the waterway to delete them from the map). Apart from the Y button I am unsure of the buttons you need to press for this to happen, suggest you experiment a bit.
