GreatGnarledOne Posted November 14, 2019 Report Posted November 14, 2019 Need to throw another line out for help haha On the drum hunt challenge you need to catch a Drum in Mudwater 5.6 lb+, I've watched multiple videos (most are grossly out of date) and tried the various spots with the different baits all while switching from casting lure's, bottom rod's and bobber's.... the biggest I've caught was a 2.8 lb. Anyone have any advice on this? 1 Quote
Olds_CodEyes Posted November 14, 2019 Report Posted November 14, 2019 Size 1 hook, 10lb fluro, float /bobber, bait: shrimp, cast distance: 90 - 100 feet, depth: maximum. The area between 'Last Songs of Summer' and 'Pike Challenge'. Sorry, can not be specific with time of day and weather, but try 11am. to 7pm. cloudy. 2 Quote
GreatGnarledOne Posted November 14, 2019 Author Report Posted November 14, 2019 (edited) Thanks for the help... tried it from that spot for a while then went to the opposite bank on that spot and finally got one! (mine was cloudy also) I think the hook was a big help, started catching bigger ones as soon as they were hitting. Edited November 14, 2019 by GreatGnarledOne added 1 Quote
