Beanzy
I've just been fined twice for releasing a fish after the prompt saying either release or try your luck (yes i'm sure i clicked correctly). I'm now in debt by 500 coins. It was hard enough to get money for new gear/baits/travel. Has this happened to anyone before? i couldn't find anything in the forums about it. PH_Carpman99
Where are you fishing ? Some fish must not be released and others must be released if you have a Basic licence. I find it easier to get an Advance licence and not worry about the details.
GreatGnarledOne
There is a glitch that I have experienced and later saw in threads... some place's simply glitch when you hit release (I always play with the advanced license). I found that if you get to the option to take/release, shut the game and restart... it didn't happen. hope it helps.

Phjorten
mMy LA advance license ran out in wheeling in a gar. I took the chance and got at green gard, no penalty. That happened 3 times. Then i got flagged an got a 2000 coin fine. So far so good. then I checked my balance and suddenly had minus 18144 coins!!!!!! WTF!! Then don't give a green light if they fine you anyway. and 4x2000 dosen't make 18144!!!
