GreatGnarledOne Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 I've caught everything except the one in emerald lake. tried all the tube colors, techniques, weather condition's and spots all around the lake. I keep getting frustrated and leaving to do something else but collectively I must have spent more than 20 ingame days trying for it (currently on day 6 this time) and the biggest I've caught was under 0.7 lbs. Any advice? Quote
Trickey Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 I seem to recall having the same difficulty. Then one day I noticed fish activity towards the left of where you can land your kayak(where you can get out on land at the rocky point). Jump out, turn to face water, and to your right is a little inlet where I believe I got mine, right near weeds by shore. There was splashing there, and couldn't catch anything else so I tried the tube bait there, and voila! I hope this helps...that's all the detail I can remember. Good luck 1 Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted November 27, 2019 Report Posted November 27, 2019 I caught one fishing from the shore next to the fallen tree facing the dock of peace, casting to the lily pads where the dock and land meet on the right. Casting close the lily pads on the left also worked for Crappy. Was fishing during the day at peak time (partly sunny). 1 Quote
GreatGnarledOne Posted November 28, 2019 Author Report Posted November 28, 2019 I appreciate it but I've tried those spots over and over... It must be simple bad luck lmao Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted November 28, 2019 Report Posted November 28, 2019 Stop&Go or Twitching at a slow 1 or 2 speed can be good. 1 Quote
GreatGnarledOne Posted November 28, 2019 Author Report Posted November 28, 2019 Yeah man, I know, this challenge is just really tough for me. It must be one of those things were I'm randomly having really bad luck on the spawns. It happens with this game. Sometimes you'll hit a spot and kill them for days and days but other times in the same conditions you have to change your lure/bait and techniques.. with the limitations of the challenge I think it's just bad luck on the spawns.... (and for some reason I've been getting more hits on these in general with lift&drop... dunno) Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted November 28, 2019 Report Posted November 28, 2019 I know what you mean, I have had similar problems chasing the one elusive fish for hours on end (multiple ingame days). Leaving the waterway without success only to come back a few days later and bag it within half an hour using the exact same techniques as before. Go figure. (OK, so it has happened at least once in the past ) 1 Quote
