your client version is outdated

I keep getting this alert and get pushed to the character creation screen (five times till I gave up),I can't play and am hoping I didn't lose my character.

Is this a glitch before the Christmas season starts tomorrow?

Someone please say something because this is very upsetting at lvl 48.

(Didn't randomly post, couldn't find anything in threads)

There was a console update on Xbox today.  Are you on that platform?

I'm from the microsoft store.

another guy had the same problem until he got the update

it puts me at the character creation screen... it always auto updated...   what do I need to do?

the other guy said he uninstalled then reinstalled the game and the update started but I don't know if that erases your progress or not so be warned

i load into the game on microsoft store so i can play with my friends on xbox but everytime I load in the game just puts me in version 2.05 when i just installed the game recently on microsoft store, on steam and epic games the game works fine but on microsoft store it doesnt work. if anyone has any information it would really help.

Yes i have deleted and reinstalled the app, i have downloaded it from the web, restarted my computer, updated my whole computer and yet nothing has seemed to work.
