Jasonguru
I am now totally lost with this game. I liked it at first but now am so disappointed. Not only was sick of having to try to catch walleye over and over as only way to make money and get better tackle to go elsewhere, now they are gone too. Have always used my narrow spoons 7g all colours and 14g night spoon and been able to catch them then all of a sudden nothing for a week or more now. My 1 way of progressing and now its no more. I have fished every square inch of this dam lake with nothing. Same technique and equipment no changing and now all gone. I don't know may techniques and am fairly hopless at this but now to go from catching fish trying to improve to nothing has killed it totally for me. So sad as game was fun and enjoyable for a while. Violentvole
Ok, you're frustrated, that much is immediately apparent. The Walleye are still there. They're actually a pain in the posterior for me when chasing the uni Sauger. You don't say what level you are so I have no idea of your grasp of the game, but the fishing changes day to day, times will vary, as will lures the fish are receptive to, retrieves the fish want and even the depth the fish are at. What was ' the spot ' to catch Walleye from between 7 - 9pm yesterday can be a dead zone the following day depending on weather. They're still available to be caught, just maybe not where you're fishing. May I suggest plastic worms on a jighead if you aren't already using them? The Walleye in NY and Mich love the 5 or 6 inch worms, they outperform narrow spoons in my opinion.
Tmif
It has happened to me too a few times. My advice....catch what other fish you can, pickerel pay ok, and come back the next day. You can make back the $500 fairly quickly.

Basically rainy days are best to catch those walleyes and if u want to catch them on sunny days use small minnows on #1/0 hook at 65inch depth. I hope it will sort u out. US_DarkLord
I don't understand, I catch them back-to-back from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. all night long every night at Emerald. All I use is a 1/4 oz medium spoon or the 2 Oz night spoon real speed one twitch or Real Speed 3 stop and go and pretty much bring the walleye in almost every cast and even in the dead time I'm still able to pick up walleyes one out of five cast. Since night fishing has been implemented fishing for walleyes during the day even rainy days can be tough. That's one a worm and jig head fall into play and work very nicely and then there is always the sauger at the Rock Point they're pretty much always biting LOL hope this helps bro.
