RAZZORZEDGE Posted July 12, 2020 Report Posted July 12, 2020 Hi there I'm having some MAJOR PROBLEMS..my game lags about every 10 to 12 mins for 2 to 3 secs and sometimes it will kick me.The game will freeze or simply just loose connection all together . Sometimes there will be a screen with a circle that goes around and around for a long time and I will have to restart my game . There will be times when I will try to pick up my rods and I will freeze with them in my hands for about 3 to 4 secs then all is good .It is NOT MY ISP.. I've spent weeks looking into this debacle. I've had technicians out testing my lines replacing my equipment and it turns out it's YOUR GAME... WHY... granted I'm not a big spender but I am a premium member and I do spend money... I don't think we should have to put up with this.. Your supposedly the best fishing game out there ,,I don't see how...PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN OR CARE THANK YOU ps. I am sure they are aware of it, as it has been posted here many times(just do a search). it doesn’t appear to be an issue that they can resolve either, because I can’t imagine that they want a dissatisfied customer base with persistent problems like lag. i am inclined to believe that the simulation engine that FP has deployed for the console is simply not efficient for the platform hardware resources. And yes, I am aware of other games that have considerable more in game resources and are fast action that run flawlessly. That simply Isn’t the case with FP. at this stage (Summer 2020) it is doubtful that they will attempt to improve on the performance , but rather they may wait for the next hardware release of Xbox, later this year, and hope that it will have the computational power to make their engine function at an acceptable level. Hoppy1857 Posted August 15, 2020 Report Posted August 15, 2020 They should of rectified this year's ago. They are just not bothered one bit. As long as they keep making money they don't care. There are reports on the 'freezing' dating back to 2016 for the xbox and PS but nothing has been done. I've sent videos to the support team and they just say 'there is nothing wrong with your profile' as if they were reading off a script. Clearly there is nothing wrong with the profiles, it's the game that is the problem due to so many bugs but nothing is being done about it. Once my premium is up I shall not be playing this game again (if it ever stops freezing to allow me to play). I will look at another game that is reliable with a good support system in place. Quote
