Hey Guys, seen mixed reviews for the lake, anyone have any tips for getting the most out of it, will I need carp rods to get the best results?

A Carp and Spod rod would be handy especially in the lake within a lake area, but you should also take other types of setups as well, things like Feeder for the smaller species - Bream etc, Bottom - Carp, Catfish & Zander, Float - Silver & Bighead carp and a Spinner setup - Zander, Perch & Pike.

There is a lot of water to cover and it can take a while to find the fish, suggest seeing where others are fishing and work from there.

everything Carpman says is spot on.

unless I go there for a bighead competition once a month , Germany has little interest for me and others I fish with.   It should be more interesting In every aspect, considering it is a higher level lake.  
 

You get better value for your time,  XP and silver,  on other lower level lakes than in Germany.

Thanks for the advice guys, I had worried it may be the case, I hope they give some of the European lakes a little more TLC as it would add a lot to the game

I have just returned from a 7 day trip in Germany and thanks to your advice I made over 150k, which is not bad all things considered, off to Italy next
