Fish Duels

I think this could be a really interesting feature in the game.

My thoughts are being able to walk up to a friend or random player and challenging them to a fish duel. Through a special menu that would come up each player agrees to a target species, acceptable tackle to use as well as the winning requirements such as biggest weight or biggest fish at the end of the time limit.

Lol.   You can ice fish in White Moose.   If your heavy rod can cast over 100 meters, then cast from the dock to the left.  Your sinker will somehow punch a hole through the solid ice sheet and sink to the bottom at over 20 meters depth.  Ice fishing in the modern era.   No need to freeze your feet in the process.

There is a option to do this (from Inventory), select SPORT, select CUSTOM COMPETITIONS, select the CREATE button and select the two crossed fishing rods under the Format option (then fill in the required details), the rewards aren't great (yet, if ever) but it could be a good option for practicing other competitions. HTH.

On that matter it would be nice if we could run custom practice comps without needing a second player to join, would save us pestering others with pms.

Yes, the ability to create solo events where you can recreate the competitions times and conditions would provide another avenue for people to try out different scenarios (short version : good idea)

Ill give that a try thanks
