When to repair

Recommended Posts

The key thing is to pay attention to how much degradation takes place with the species you are targeting.  It's OK to take equipment to single digit life-span before repairing, but be aware that the larger the fish, the more wear on your rig.  Take the life of your equipment to whatever you feel comfortable with based on repair expenses and credits available.  The more wear on equipment, the more cost to repair.
