teyrar Posted December 1, 2021 Report Posted December 1, 2021 Hey I play this game a lot and my missus hates the rod alarms when she is trying to nap haha I thing you should have a option to replace alarms with bells hound which is more subtle or turn alarm off so if u have bells they just sound or even put them on timer so they only sound for 25 seconds I think each pod should be customisable in case your using a match rod and need alarm on pod 1 but have bottom rods in pod 2 3 4 so don’t need alarm as bells are on rod another solution would just be have the bells cancel out alarms so if a rod In Pod has a bell alarm doesn’t sound for that rod Quote
J_3 Posted December 3, 2021 Report Posted December 3, 2021 The community have been asking for individual volume control fro the rod stands since they were implemented to the game, but nothing has happned sadly. Dont expect the devs to change anything.. Quote
weeksy Posted December 4, 2021 Report Posted December 4, 2021 What if they made the alarms to be silent once you strike the rod? I mean you know you have a fish on and it is just an annoyance when you have more than one fish on. Quote
waiora Posted December 9, 2021 Report Posted December 9, 2021 The worst part is its all grouped under environment sounds along with other important sound you would like to hear, like line tension, reel clicking, casting etc. Same thing with the waterfall in congo roaring over everything else in the game. Maybe they want people to play with game sound just turned off, so we dont have to hear the waterfall, bite alarms and boats Quote
J_3 Posted December 9, 2021 Report Posted December 9, 2021 The reel clicking, casting and rod stand alarms is not under the enviorment sounds, i believe those are grouped in "sound volume". But I can gladly announce that I got an answer from killerwhale regarding individual volume control for the rod stands, they will implement it. 1 Quote
