Darker screen after update?

Is it me or is the game after latest update much darker? I thought something was wrong with my TV so I tried it on a different one but no difference and so I wondered if it was the ps5 so I fired up the PS4, still the same very dark and very saturated colours, If this is a new look to the game I'm not a fan?

Do you have a new option in the Settings menu under Video (Settings) on the PS4 ? Called Post FX, see if changing that makes any difference (if it is there) to your screen display.

Thanks for reply unfortunately ps4/5 version of FP does not seem to have any video settings in settings only audio, dont want to mess with ps and tv settings as other games and picture seem normal?

I agree weeksy.  Graphics is terrible. Especially dust and dawn. Just like you crank up the hew on a camera to vivid blue. Very disturbing. This is probably all lakes so there should be major complaints on all levels. There are also major glitches.  Had to reboot because the sky was half bright yellow and other was vivid pink. Looked like the psychodelic colors of the 60-70's.  I also agree, don't want to change the PS4 settings or my TV for one game.  You wonder when they put this out, if they tested it.

So dark in the shadows that the boat interiors are just black and the only detail you can see is the fish finder that glows like its going to explode. Have just updated to the christmas event and the Juke boxes glow like theres somebody welding in them.:0

I too have the same problem and have an Xbox one.  Xbox one also doesnt have any video settings.

Seriously, how is there not more people talking about this? It hurts your eyes to look at it. I wear the vampire glasses all the time because it strips the graphics of all the color information. It's the only way I can play any more.

Maybe there is, but they reported it the way its suppose to be reported.
And it seems like this is only something thats affecting players on console (xbox and ps4/5), and the majority of FP player base is on PC. 
But if you havent already, just report it to support accordingly to their "Bug Reporting Procedure"

So basically speaking they are putting the game out with brightness and colour saturation settings that are way out of the normal settings and expecting users to correct it in their own settings which unfortunately Xbox and PlayStation don't have as most games are set up correctly by the developers. They obviously don't test anything out on the consoles as can be seen by the button layout for picking up rods that has been mentioned many times before (left button right rod) why?

...or maybe there isn't which isn't generating enough noise to get them to change it. Reporting it through the "correct" channel in addition to secondary channels like this board are BOTH a good idea.

I don't know what your level of attention to detail is, but this thread is under "Bug Reports."

You bring up a good point. It doesn't feel like their QC process is effective. I know that the XBox One version was last to market and it seems to receive updates last so it does have that "red-headed stepchild" feel to it. Left button - right rod: why indeed?? I wonder if their development team is smaller than you might think with management's focus on introducing new features over cross-platform playability.

It would be interesting to know if all changes to the programming are tested on console as well as pc? I have brought this up in bug reports because I thought it may get reviewed more often by the programmers than some of the other topics
