waiora Posted March 13, 2022 Report Posted March 13, 2022 Spent some time on snakeheads, and the bite rate is so painfully low on the lures, its a waste of time. Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted March 13, 2022 Report Posted March 13, 2022 Suggest catching one then trying another spot, repeat. Plenty of very likely spots at Quanchkin lake. 2 Quote
waiora Posted March 13, 2022 Report Posted March 13, 2022 (edited) Counter suggestion. Logged out and played the event in other games. Snakeheads are really aggressive fish that will bite on most things at any time. But nooo lets design something that is not fun. And im not even talking about fishing 1 spot. I literally mean you don't see a single bite casting the lure over an hour in game. And then you have to sit through that with 9 different lures? AFTER doing "boat races" and playing hide and seek with event items yet again. Which of the developers think that this is fun and engaging for your players? Edited March 13, 2022 by waiora Quote
Zarkent Posted March 13, 2022 Report Posted March 13, 2022 why is this event only for high levels? I am level 21 can't do it. I also spent 14 coins to buy natural bait. Could you write that it is only for high levels .. Quote
kdog013 Posted March 14, 2022 Report Posted March 14, 2022 Mudwater worked well for the clover spoon, spinnerbait, Irish jig, and crayfish (attached to the spinnerbait or jig, it counts for both). Quanchkin was good for the pint popper, frog popper, swimbait, and stout walker. The only lure that gave me a hard time was the buzzbait (can also attach crayfish), had to jump around to a few different places for that one only catching a couple at a time. 23 hours ago, Zarkent said: why is this event only for high levels? Without buying the dlc you need a Brutus match rod (level 34 min) to reel in the event fish. You can still visit whatever lakes you can afford to and claim the silver or gold pots each day which will give you free clover coins and event baits though the number of baits you get from each pot will be random. At least you can stock up a little bit for next year's event. FYI for others there is a pot at every venue except for the Congo and Russia. 1 Quote
ivanlobo77 Posted March 15, 2022 Report Posted March 15, 2022 Hello, does anyone have the parameters of an event boat and motor boat, because I can't find them anywhere. Quote
kdog013 Posted March 15, 2022 Report Posted March 15, 2022 I may have misspoke about the random number of baits coming from the pots. I was pretty sure that a couple of times I had only received 1 bait previously but when I kept track of them last night every pot that gave me baits had awarded 13 so I'll have to track it for the next few nights when I do it to make sure. Tegla80_HUN Posted March 17, 2022 Report Posted March 17, 2022 Hello everyone. I have a big problem. I played a lot to have enough gold for my clover. I succeeded and I bought the St. Patrick's boat for 3333 clovers. I am shocked to see that there is no stick holder in it. Is this serious now? Are there 2 types of St. Patrick's ships? Are their names and colors the same? I hope this will only be a bug and will be fixed, because it is not correct and misleading. I’m disappointed because I farmed for the rod-holding boat, not what I got. (i play on ps4) Quote

Other anglers have already reported this, you can send an email to support@fishingplanet.com with your game name, platform (PS4) and a description of the problem if you want to report it as well. On a side note, you're able to obtain the Motor boat by completing the The Expulsion of Snakeheads mission (which requires the completed Golden Horseshoe Stringer) instead of paying 3333 clover coins. 1 Quote
ivanlobo77 Posted March 18, 2022 Report Posted March 18, 2022 Hello, I was also disappointed yesterday when it turned out that there are no fishing rod holders in the St. Patrick's event boat. I hope this is a bug and it will be fixed because it is frivolous treatment of players (it will describe something different than "at least" virtual reality). Quote

Yeah this has been pretty consistent the last few days and I've been travelling to every map. Besides not having rod holders the inflatable boat isn't exactly ideal for all of the rainbow chase missions either, tried the amazon one and only got a little over halfway through lol. Top speed is 28 mph or 45 km/h. Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted March 18, 2022 Report Posted March 18, 2022 lol, can understand that, usually finish with around 20 seconds or less with the Amazon race using an Orion BB, did one run in the rubber ducky at Emerald and think I'll stick with the Orion for the time being. Quote

Yuccasu Posted April 19, 2022 Report Posted April 19, 2022 I don't think so, because they "fixed" the description instead with the last update. Quote

ivanlobo77 Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 Hello. Due to the fact that March begins, do you already know what the creators are preparing for St. Patrick's? ps. are there any new signals about a new waterway or other news in the game. Quote
weeksy Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 Will there be any thing new for people who have already completed previously like there was at Christmas? Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 It's a surprise, and if the devs did decide to tell you it wouldn't be a surprise (j/k). Actually haven't seen or heard a thing so I do not know if there will be anything new introduced. Quote
ivanlobo77 Posted March 10, 2023 Report Posted March 10, 2023 It is a pity that for players who have already completed the event challenge, the creators did not offer anything new. All that's left is to get bitcoins. 1 Quote
PH_Carpman99 Posted March 10, 2023 Report Posted March 10, 2023 Yes, nothing new was added (as far as I can tell), don't believe I saw anything saying that there would be (only questions). So baitcoins and boat races (minor XP) it is for those who've completed the ST. Patrick's day event previously. Quote
