Line Physics

Recommended Posts

Hello wonderful Devs.  Just wondering if the line physics will ever be updated to reflect the following:

1.  Visually correct angle of line to reflect lure position in water -  usually from the player's point of view, the line looks like its going straight down (with a slight curve) into the water but the lure is 100 ft. away being retrieved close to the surface at speed 3.  Not saying the line needs to be a straight linear line right to the lure position, but currently the way it just drops straight down, it just seems unrealistic for an "ultimate fishing simulator".

2.  Visually correct length of line when drifting floats in current or when affected by wind - as an example, when float fishing in places like Missouri, you would cast the float out to 30 ft., and a few minutes later your float is two times farther away from where it landed, but the distance still says 30 ft.  The float should stop at the end of your line length and eventually swing around to the bank stopping at the same distance as your rod length from the bank, unless you use the strip (line out) function of your reel to continue the drift.

Thanks.
