Hello anglers!

We haven't brought you new locations for a while now. But we’ve been working hard and are ready to present a wonderful gift for you!

It’s time for you to witness the results of the long work of the whole team: our new location, the Selenge River in Mongolia.

The Selenge River will show you the incredible world of fishing in Asia.

Have you ever dreamed of breathing in the fragrant wind that travels over the sea of steppe grasses? Have you ever wanted to observe the vast expanses of millennial steppes? Have you ever wanted to hunt for amazing, unique inhabitants of faraway rivers? If yes—then very soon we’ll give you an exceptional opportunity to visit the distant and unknown Northern Mongolia!

It is here, in the hilly forest-steppe, surrounded by low mountains, that the proud and cold river Selenge is found, one of the high-water rivers that feed Lake Baikal. The Selenge flows across predominantly flat land, and in its course the narrowings alternate with hollow widenings, where the river divides into straits and forms numerous islands. The current is quite fast and the waters are muddy, with a lot of sedimentary rocks. Its depth is small (3–4 meters), although sometimes there are pits up to 7 meters.

The shores are mostly clayey and sandy, although pebbles can sometimes be found. The places for fishing are surprisingly diverse, full of life and unique flair.

Here, in the interfluve, you can find a fishing camp, popular with locals. A large hearth, prepared seats made of fallen trees, and fish dryers assembled from poles eloquently suggest that this is a good fishing place.

On the west bank of the Selenge you can find a traditional camp of nomads with typical Mongolian yurts and nomadic flocks of sheep grazing, camels, and horses.

At the foot of a low hill, you can feel the spirit of antiquity and see carved wooden serge poles and millennial deer stones, decorated with solar symbols and ritual signs.

On a large pebble island overgrown with grass and bushes, there is a small boat station. Under a cliff in front of the island you can see a whirlpool, about which the locals can tell you several legends.

The harsh continental climate keeps Selenge in ice for almost six months, from November to April. Short but hot summers and cold harsh winters make early autumn an ideal time for fishing. However, September nights may already see some snow.

The Selenge teems with fish. In addition to the usual Pike and Burbot, its waters are home to many unique cold-loving fish, such as Arctic Grayling, Humpback Whitefish, Lenok, and Baikal Omul

However, the Selenga is also famous for having the largest fish of the salmon family! Of course, we are talking about the king of all salmon Taimen, whose weight can exceed 60 kilograms!

Of course, in order to deal with such unique underwater dwellers, you will need new lures and baits.

Your collection of surface lures can be expanded with mini-cranks, ideal for catching predators who prefer to hunt in surface waters, and an artificial mouse, which will attract Taimen, as well as Lenok and Grayling.

The new baits will include Curd Dough, Oat-flakes, Bark Beetle Larva, Boiled Red Roe, Eurasian Minnow, and Sideswimmers, which will drive Baikal Omul crazy.

In general, Mongolia is a very colorful and unusual place where you can not only enjoy the spirit of an ancient original culture (from Buddhist stupas, deer stones, and ruins of ancient temples to nomadic camps and traditional mouth harp music), but also get unique fishing trophies!

I have a few questions. Please answer them in correspondence to their numbers so I can better make sense of your reply.

1. Are you guys going to add saltwater fishing so we can drive out far into the sea with boats for blue marlin, mahi-mahi, sharks, etc?! I really though this game would have a lot more saltwater fishing when I first bought this for a game called “Fishing Planet”!

2. Are you also going to make it so you can trade real money for in-game money and have an in-game store that lets you do that kind of stuff?

3. Also, you going to update your graphics? Because they need to be updated BADLY!

4. I also find it incredibly frustrating that the controller only vibrates (and not even intense enough for certain fish) when you’ve gotten a bite, but doesn’t continue to vibrate and feel like you’re still fighting the fish as you’re reeling it in like other fishing games do. I found that to be a huge blunder on your guy's part and I’m wondering if there’s any plans at this time to fix that as well? If not, I highly suggest that you create a plan because that’s very essential to any fishing game.

Please answer all these questions as thoroughly and quickly as possible!

Thanks,

If FP were to implement vibration the entire time, as you desire, then you would need 3 sets of batteries for Lucky 50, Jolly Carp, and several other comps.  It is better as is. Vibration is more energy draining than any other operation.

Will the fish here give more levels or will the fish in the congo region give more levels?

If you mean experience(XP) when you say “levels”  I doubt the lower level lake (Mongolia) will give you more than the higher level lake (Congo).

Exiting, will be fun to try.

I think the level 48 addresses a gap where it has been very few new levels. Hopefully this will give the game a bit less grinding feel. So good work!

Have you developed monster fish and missions for this new swim?

I see testers and youtubers got access to the test server. River looks wonderful and can't wait to fish it. May I ask how long until it is released to public?
