I can’t cast far

So I bought a TeleFloat 14’ 9” because my past rods wouldn’t cast far enough. And even thought it’s about 5 feet longer it will still cast the same length. And I’m confused because I see videos on YouTube and they can cast considerably further than I can with a shorter rod. 
 

The picture shows that the most I can cast is the length of about my rod and my float is already touching the location of how far I can cast.

Hi, I think the issue is that you have too little line on your reel.  In the screenshot it is showing (bottom right) that you are limited to 50 feet of line.  You should respool the outfit with more line to be able to cast farther.
