lakes at a higher level

Have a question for everybody. 

If you buy a dlc like congo discovery pack, you get 30 days pond pass and advanced fishing licence. is the lake permanently unlocked after the 30 days has expired or do you still have to wait until you are at the level of the lake? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks!

Once the pond pass expires you'll have to reach the required level before you can access the waterway again, or you could buy another DLC for that waterway (you won't be able to purchase another Discovery pack DLC).  If you can afford the time (for the grind) during those 30 days you should be able to reach the required level. The one thing I think that's missing from the Discovery pack would be titanium leaders (Tiger fish have a rather nasty set of dentures, so you might want to target fish like the Nile perch instead).
