I bought St Patrick's day pack. spent lot of time try catch specie fish(Leprachaun and Rowdy bass) lost nearly all special baits (Dunken worm & Bully Grasshopper) because only regular fish bite. all for the FP big mistakes. why? because event no active! very unfair release some dlc pack in PSstore which is no active.

The event fish would be available during the event which is not started yet.

Why then release dlc pack in PSstore? when you buy bread in shop start eat bread after a few days or when you know you can not eat it what you do then?

Saint Patrick's Day is March 17th. I would not assume the event fish would spawn before then.

Events all have a specific start and end dates ie: Christmas, Halloween, etc. where the event baits are active during the specific event. I wouldn’t normally fish with “Pigs Eyes” or “Rotten Minnows” unless it was during the Halloween event published time frame. Drunken worms are probably eatin by any fish instead of the St Patrick’s Day event fish whatever they are. Event baits can be pricy and wouldn’t want to waste them on the average fish if that makes any sense.

When the gar event went live, the loading icon turned into a pumpkin. I'd presume that during the upcoming event it'll be a cloverleaf or something, letting everyone that the event is live.

 

As for why is it in the store already, they're a company and they want to generate revenue from their game. Therefore they'll put event related things up early to increase the numbers of players who see it and hopefully buy it.

If someone uses all their bait before the event after not checking if the event is live, that's not the devs fault.

The comparison between buying a loaf of bread and buying a digital product should probably be buried for good right now, we can have a little funeral and raise a beer in its memory..

Yea VV, you'd think they would have a popup or distinct loading icon similar to Gar-o-ween; but event has started. Though with there being no notification it could be a mistake similar to when they released Gar-o-ween too early then shut it off till official start date. Regardless, the Rowdy Bass & Leprechaun Fish are catchable at the moment, tho the spawn rates are looking more like Gar-o-ween rng rather than the Christmas event. Which is very disappointing; used 46 baits so far, only got 9 Rowdys & 3 Leprechauns. 

 

 

Btw everyone remember to grab the 2 Pots of Gold that spawn at the event waterways daily.

 

 *edit* Also the Leprechaun Fish doesn't show or register as being a Uni like the Rowdy Bass does, tho they both reward 1 baitcoin each catch.

Texas has one too for some reason, although I don't know if the event fish are there because the water isn't green.

Just had my first Rowdy after a bit of a wait, good fight.

Pots reward you with either in game dollars or bait. Given the cost of the bait, they're definitely worth seeking out.

Friend and I tried last night for hours, couldn't catch one.

Wife caught many. She even grabbed my controller and caught one first try. I still couldn't catch one even after watching her...

The pots are bugged somewhat. Was showing a friend where they were at MO last night and I could see it, he couldn't. I sent him a SS showing both him and the pot in shot, he sent me one showing me and no pot.

I'm at MO again now and the upstream pot isn't there.
