Advance time skips to morning

Since the patch, myself and several members of my club have had an issue trying to fast forward time after 9 pm. After pressing SQUARE to bring up the menu, it skips past the options and advances straight to 5 am. I contacted support but in their response they said I pressed the X button twice. They don't know their own button sequences. I thought that if others were having this issue and shared it on the forum, then FP couldn't keep telling individuals by email that they were doing it wrong. I don't care about the baitcoins I lost with this bug, but I am extremely frustrated that they keep blaming issues on players and not taking responsibility.

You where in wrong spot .

Thats what I told him also Chris lol. But really, Tony is right, it not the players fault. I had the same issue at Lousiana. I left and came back, and seemed to work after that. Same thing happened at Michigan. Those are the only two venues that I've tried to this point.

Confirmed this bug. Just had the same issue. Hit square to access skip options and forwarded straight to 5 AM. This was in Michigan on the floating dock. This needs to be fixed.

That's 5 players now. First they said I pressed the buttons too fast. Then they blamed my controller. All 5 of us are not using the same controller.

It happened to me once, but not the 2nd time I did it.  The first time I had advanced to 9pm, did some fishing, then hit square to check and see if my forwarding timer had run out yet...instantly went to 5am.  The 2nd night I was fishing, logged off for a bit, logged on several hours later and got the regular menu after hitting square.  So it seems to be tied into the forwarding timer...if it's still counting down it warps you to 5am, but if it's run out it gives you the regular menu?

The ticket you submitted is not closed as we continue to investigate the issue.
As the initial test failed to reproduce the issue additional suggestions and questions were asked. Some information in regards what our logs showed was provided as well.

At the moment of your initial inquiry, it was literally 1st time someone has addressed the possible issue.

I fail to see at which point the blame was put on anyone.

Would be nice to receive more reports from other users as their account data may be helpful in nailing down the possible issue.

Continuation. Fished for a while, skipped to 9pm, tried to skip and it auto skipped until morning again.

Further attempts were fine ( at the cost of 8 or 9 baitcoins ).

It appears to me that it only happens once - but that's just me, on Quanchkin. Not tried elsewhere yet to see if it's a one time thing or not.

Sounds like one of those odd coding glitches where something shouldn't happen yet does anyway. Hopefully they resolve it. I wish I could say I have experienced this as well... but I don't forward at night. I just fish until the bite dies and call it a night normally. So far I've only night fished in three locations. Aside from NY, the night fishing for me has been so terrible that I call it quits after the first so-called "peak hours" and leave the location. Night fishing never has been too good for me on this game (excluding NY which I kill at night), although at least I can see better now since I earned the miner's flashlight helmet.
