Why? because I see how almost everybody use nonstop everywhere only X-series Bobber and that's why FP  make skull & pumpkin bobber repairable. so they want to others player show there are another floats too.
There are some things needs to stay with something rare and special.

Of course with the use of kayaks, this whole topic goes down the drain, but in case of competitions, where you can NOT use kayaks or only the fish from the shore will count: 

With all your knowledge and experience, is there a fish (uni, trophy or common) in the whole game of F.P., on any location, that can ONLY be caught with the x-series bobbers?

(I myself have NOT used any x-series bobber yet, so they sit in my home depot with a 100% "health")

Now here a noob question:

for the challenge LONG CASTER III you need to cast 100 meters or more (i'm sitting at 77 atm). Are any x-series bobbers an absolute must or is there an other way of getting the minimum required distance?

I fink maybe my wording has been missinterpited sorry and sorry 4 grammer. I can hit all uni spots without xseries but what i am trying to say is i did better wiv further distance and would not like to sacrifice n e mor distance or my setup. For example uni muski i could garantee hit uni evry time 139ft + at 130- i can miss it uni steelhead the same also 2 carp spots 139+ evrytime now i swop rod i do 125- and miss that is y i use my xseries as i say it means me swapping back unless a dlc reskin has got a slight better cast. Again apoligize if hard to understand my veiw

And yes ther are other positions i can stand to hit them closer but there are better places to sit to see my tv i choose to sit were i feel mor comfortable if u get my drift

the advantage is that some fish you can use the Brutus 300, otherwise you will have to use the Brutus 330 or 360.

I don't think the bobber needs to be x-series. I think using lighter line will get you there. I did that kayak fishing mission after I caught my last pike in NY and it auto selected the first spinning setup available in my pack, the zeus, which I had 40lb. line on and my max cast is 225ft. The mission requires braid line and the biggest I had was 30lb. First cast went 246ft and completed Long Caster II, so after the event is over I'm gonna try using the lightest line possible with the same setup and see what happens. For imperial users, it says you need 75 yards for stage2, but it's really 75 meters to complete the challenge and I'm guessing the same goes for 100.

I fink there mite b issues with long cast still i remember a month or 2 ago it was mentioned they fixed it i failed my cast and it giv me all 3 at once i know i had done the 1st 1 time ago yet it showed i did all 3 at once( failed cast landed about 15 ft) iv noticed a few low level people getting the achievment also and dout they had a long casting setup
