Hello, Dear Anglers!
Patch 1.10  is a minor update that includes:

  • Optimization of the inventory - now it works 2 times faster.
  • Underwater items (details below).
  • Complex bugfix.
  • Chinese localization sell item window fix.

While we are working on the new European waterways and lots of new fish, here is a fun update for you in the meanwhile. As Fishing Planet is aimed to give you a fully realistic fishing experience now you can catch some underwater items and creatures, just like IRL.
Also underwater items are a part of a new complex feature - Mission System which will be released with the next update. In the future you will be able to use them to complete different tasks.
Underwater items do not influence the probability to catch fish in any way, you might get them only after the snag. Do not miss the chance to use them to explore the underwater world of the waterways.
Go and try your chances to catch one of the following items and creatures:

  • Turtle, Crayfish and Shells,

  • Variety types of Weed

2060_Lilly.jpg

  • Other stuff as Boots, Plastic Bags, Sticks.

We also added a possibility to catch up lost lures.

You can either keep or release caught stuff (except for the creatures), if you decide to keep it, it will be visible in your inventory .
Enjoy and tight lines!

Anyone played it yet? Woke up this morning and told me I needed to download the update when tried to play. Sad thing takes 10-12 hours for my ps4 to download the 4gig file. So I'm impatiently waiting.

Wow, you on dial-up or something? Even my slowest internet in years past would do a gig an hour. I wasn't paying for it so I could live with it..

Haven't played yet, need my H1Z1 fix for the night first but I'll be jumping in later.

So does “Complex Bug Fix” mean that the blue screen error during competitions has been fixed?

Nope. Had one in Dancing Pike today. Saw the fishs stats and then the big blue. Fish wasn't in my keepnet.

I wouldn't go bragging about that one just yet - nothing has changed.

Awesome, so another patch that gives us junk to catch and doesn’t address one of the biggest current issues in the game from the previous patch. Right on! 👍

Give them some credit, it took them 6 months to realise there was(n't) an issue with crankbaits 😉

However, any update is better than none at all.

For me, the big question is can they get me spending money again? Because, aside from maintaining my Premium, I haven't bought anything for ages.

And that should be a concern to them given how free I used to be with my money.

also wishing to spend money for game but nothing appeals too me.  game is in a stagnant position but poorly cant even give the players something to buy.  Take my advice money is a good thing which will help the developement of the game an hoping this new waterway isnt something we will get bored of in a few days?  ill ask one more question what are the steps we will take in the new waters?  WHy will we want to go back and who can we fish together or is it the same ol waterway ha  ha guess ill to track down all the unique to keep myself busy in my own imagination of how i enjoy the game   WEAK

I also stopped buying stuff. Even stopped buying prem for now and told them why. They promised the bugs I was experiencing would be fixed with this patch. Alas it still continued. So I will be spending my money on other stuff for now. Its sad because I really love the game. But im still around...hoping....

No not sure if it's PS network or what it is. Seems PlayStation downloads are slow for everyone, everywhere. There are all kinds of threads out there on people trying to speed them up.

Does anyone know if theses so called "underwater items" will be introduced into competitions and tournaments? I sure as hell don't want to be spending valuable fishing time reeling in junk instead of fish.

Yes you can catch trash in comps and yes it is an annoyance but not as much as blue errors.

Downloaded patch, jumped back into one of my favorite spots from many months ago before this game on PS4 went (IMO) downhill....

It did not take more than 20 minutes of gameplay to realize the same issues are still massively hindering this game’s potential which as some of you note caused you to stop spending money, but for me also ended my subscription.

Maybe some have different expectations than myself, but this game was far more stable and playable on PS4 prior to December 2017 and the issues that came with that patch have only been further compounded with recent patches.

I saw the news of the newest patch and hoped to see marked improvement, but we are just not there yet. The only reason I continue to hope for this game’s success on PS4 vs PC is my commitment to the console market. However in its current form, FP on PC is far superior than FP on PS4. No offense intended.

We are second to the PC world, no doubt about that.

But, on the plus side, at least FP avoided the region lock that plagues so many other ftp games ( Dreadnought, Armored Warfare and H1Z1 are all suffering from RL ).

I do agree though that until the kayak update, this game was perfect and has taken a step backwards since.

I'll stick with them, but my wallet has taken a step back for quite some time now.

Didnt you sell your PSN account ? Anyway i feel somethings improved since release and others have suffered . I feel the new line mechanics and lure retrieval are much better ( not 2oz lures ). I feel the fish seem to be moving around alot more than before . I dont like the storage but it doesn't affect me . The blue error needs fixed ASAP . The crankbaits need tweeked still .
