lawdog91 Posted October 4, 2023 Report Posted October 4, 2023 I recently got 3 of my friends into the game. We are all on Xbox. however, I had to walk them through the menus over party chat for roughly 30 minutes. at the time I thought they may just give up and my fishing friends would be gone forever. On a serious not though we were talking about if the menu separated poles into Match/spinning/bottom etc. it would be much easier to figure out the game from the early beginnings. the setup of a rig would be more functional, and we wouldn't make as many mistaken purchases in the shop. The thought is to have another dropdown in the inventory within the rods section (similar to how the shop is already setup. I myself have a large inventory and I spend a bit of time grabbing the correct poles for what I'm fishing for. A cleaner organization of the home and inventory would be the dream similar to the store. However, I understand the complexity. My main concern is that if I needed to coach my friends through the menu, how many others pick this masterpiece of a game up and uninstall before even reaching level 10 due to frustration in the menus and their pole setups. another example was that my one friend purchased a rod and reel, but they did not go together and at that point he was out of money and had to sit at Lonestar to gather enough to fix his mistaken purchase. another solution may be adding a starter pack for cash that has a low-level rod/reel combo. that would be fairly easy to implement and would get beginners on the right track of understanding the concepts (you could even make it a baitcoin purchase). the main goal should be how do you keep them fishing on the water. I love the game and want to see you guys grow. hope this finds itself useful. Xbox Gamertag XoLawdogXo Quote
