Improvement of standard Standard Competitions

I have just started fishing the standard competitons in Fishing planet, well really just understanding what you need to do and practice; as I have now fished all the waterways and caught everything (young, common,trophy and unique) that the waterway has to offer. In general I avoid fishing competitions but Im looking for something else to do while I wait for the new water to be released. I like that you need to target certain species using specific methods but the time side of things is a bit of a nightmare. I think they should permit you to fish the competition when you like in a set time frame. I'm not going to get up at 2am to fish in a specific slot that has been determined by the game. Think I might explore setting my own up???
