Fishing being thrown into space!

Since the latest update on the Xbox, whenever fishing for ANY fish using lures, they struggle to take the lure and then shortly after a failed take, the fish are thrown out of the water and into the sky. My friend first noticed this and I swore it was due to his poor internet connection, However all day today I have experienced this happen despite having a more than stable connection, I've fallen out of the top 10 this week as a result of this bug. What have you done to this game in the last update?

Turns out this is extremely common, fished rocky lake and the trout were flying off rocks into the air, to the point I had a fish on my line stuck in a tree... I strung up a fish in a tree.
