Hey folks,

I'm sure not many eyes hit this part of the sub, but I wanted to quickly talk about The Fisherman in 2024.  I'm an active player still.  I love the few differences between the FTP version and this paid version as a casual.  I read in a few places that the license expires in 2024 and that the Fishing Planet team would be taking it back.  A few posts mentioned Killerwhale brought up the topic but there are no sources to say otherwise.  Do we know if this is still the case?  If that is the case, will there be plans to eventually update the game with purchasable DLC?  The game is a great alternative to the FTP version.

Any updates on if this is still happening?

The only thing I can say is that on the Steam Store page, the publisher changed back to Fishing Planet LLC. We've got nothing else for now I think.

I can still see the 3 DLC's for "The Fisherman" on Steam, did notice that Publisher for those DLC's is still listed as Nacon (unlike the main game which now lists Fishing Planet LLC as both Developer and Publisher as was mentioned above).

Getting close to June.  Saw a small file update and some tournaments.  Guess holding out hope for a bigger update isn't going to happen.  Bummer, really enjoy this version over the FTP.
