 Dear Anglers,

 

We have an important announcement for our mobile players. In the coming weeks, we will discontinue support for certain models of Android devices. As you're aware, Fishing Planet boasts resource-intensive visuals and gameplay mechanics that demand a powerful device. While we diligently optimize gameplay to ensure smooth performance across a wide range of devices, we have established a minimum requirement of at least 4 GB of RAM on your mobile device.

We understand that some players may still be using devices with 3.6 GB or even less RAM, but they often experience poor performance and frequent crashes, particularly on the game's higher-level waterways.

We want to inform you that we will cease support for such mobile devices in the near future. Given that we support nearly 18,000 device models, it's impractical to provide a comprehensive list of unsupported phones.

The key point is the overall CPU and GPU performance of the device, along with the architecture -  the 32 bit arm devices, except rare exceptions, will not be supported. The Samsung A13 serves as an example of the device class we're referring to. If your device shares similar characteristics, has less than 4 GB of RAM, 32 bit architecture and low spec GPU, or you encounter a message stating "Your Device Isn’t Compatible with This Version" when attempting to install the game from the Google Play Store, it means your device is incompatible, and you'll need to upgrade to continue playing.

If you already have the game installed, but your device isn’t compatible, you will receive a message stating ‘This device doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. Playing on this device is strictly not recommended’.

It's crucial to note that upgrading your phone won't result in any loss of in-game progress when logging into your Fishing Planet account, as long as you use the same Google ID or Apple ID. However, it's essential to remember that if you switch between Android and iOS devices, you'll need to start the game from the beginning.

We appreciate your understanding as we strive to enhance the game and keep pace with advancing technology. Rest assured, the performance of the game on supported devices will either remain the same or potentially even increase, thanks to ongoing optimization efforts.
