why does this x2 hook pilker no matter what not break off?

I seem to remember when we were lv up at congo and using 1 of the nile rods and the heavy swimbait it said lure is too heavy but that 1 would break off. don't get me wrong im glad it does not break seeing as trophy lures are not farmable. but how does this 1 not break and with all the recent chages can some 1 explain if they know how it works now since max dragging is gone tyvm and enjoy ur day.
