TheTexanHunter Posted August 27, 2024 Report Posted August 27, 2024 (edited) I play FP while I am doing other things on my Windows PC. Originally, I played FP on Steam and had no problem multitasking while playing. I could be doing other things and hear the game audio in the background so when I heard the Bite Alarm, I could switch back and catch the fish. However, my friends and family play FP on Xbox, so I had to switch to the Windows Store Edition so I could crossplay with them. The problem is, the windows store edition crashes immediately if I try to switch over to a different window. Sometimes it will go back to the start up window, and other times I have to use End Task to kill the process to restart the game. This is incredibly frustrating, as my gaming PC is also my Work PC, and I make my living on it. I play other PC games like Fortnite and none of them have this problem. It is obviously a bug with the Windows Store edition, because it does not happen with the Steam edition. I need a solid solution to this problem. TiA. Edited August 27, 2024 by TheTexanHunter Quote
