Halloween Event 2024 I'm disappointed

I'm disappointed with this event because you can't buy baits needed for the event with just bank moneys you have to use bait coins. 

It took me to long to get the bait coins I have. And I wasted 6 bait coins on the blood fly's because I decided not to finish the event.

I want to use my bait coins for a unlimited license for one of the lakes. And I don't have real money to buy more bait coins. So I guess this event is for those of you that can afford to buy bait coins or just don't care how you use the ones you have? Plus I'm not at a high enough level to complete the event.    

Oh well it is what it is, I do enjoy playing the game...

Same here side pocket.  Spent bait coins on the flies and heart, but even the coins it cost for a bottom rod didnt seem strong enough to catch the fish at my level (35)

Yep. This event sucks. Last year was so much fun and everyone could participate. This year it’s for levels 40 and up it seems. Disappointment is an understatement. I was so excited to play this event. I expected it to be similar to last year.

Same thoughts here, I'm level 40 and my gear isn't strong enough to get the slide-rock bolter which is the first fish to catch. I like many others have used baitcoins for blood flies and pig hearts not knowing I would not be able to complete the first monster. I am not spending £25 for the dlc as I simply do not have that money spare after recently treating myself to a carp dlc. C'mon devs sort it out because this event is very disappointing.

So disappointed in this event.  Used to be fun, but not any more.  Once I got to the Amazon, that was it for me.  Had to waste bait coins all along the way and the 13 bell challenge in just over three minutes, nope.  I have multiple boats and none are fast enough to get through this.  I gave up and refuse to spend actual money in the hopes of getting a boat just to complete a challenge.

I, like many other players,
were disappointed with the event. Even though I am level 90, have the necessary equipment and more than 1000 coins, I will not buy the DLC and I will not spend another coin on bait. I have been going to all the lakes to collect bait every day, but due to bad luck, I have not caught the cursed acaracus. And when I caught 2 cursed acaracus and tried to catch the fish I needed, and to my great surprise, I caught a Piraruco.
This event is designed so that you have to spend money on the DLC or spend more than 200 coins.
To conclude, I am still waiting for last year's to open so I can finish the albinos and the ogres.
