Norway has some of the worlds most picturesque fishing locations, especially up North - deep and narrow fjords surrounded by snow-tip mountains. The North Sea waters never freeze and are packed with life. The location would be a highly welcome addition to the European sites (and players).

For gameplay, there are various different species - small and massive. Pollock, cod and ocean perch (or rose fish) are very common and the depths can harbour some beast 90kg cod and +300kg Atlantic halibut. I've personally had only the opportunity to fish the fjords once but some days was reeling in ~1kg pollock and cod literally every cast. This creates an opportunity for an early and/or late-game experience.

I'm from Finland, and although we have some wonderful fishing also here (and would love to see it in-game) - it's quite similar and well represented Emerald Lake, NY in the game. Therefore, I'm advocating our neighbours who have some of the worlds most exquisite fishing and represent a unique opportunity for the game.

Norway would be a great addition! Classic ocean fishes like Cod, Pollock, Tusk and Uer; to grotesque things like Anglerfish and Wolffish; to giants like Halibut and Greenland shark, But also river spots for Salmon, Trout, Pike and Perch. Alta, Saltstrommen or Kilboghavn would be great locations!

Absolutely love the idea of Norway - it could include self drive boats from fish camps in the fjords, the ability to pay for a guide to join you and guide you to best marks and the ability to hire a spot on a bigger charter boat for quicker access to the far offshore deep water reefs! Fishing pirks, shads, dead baits, seasonal variance in fish patterns from inshore sandy bays for massive plaice and dabs to rough February giant cod fishing! Not to mention the halibut hunting joy!! Norway offers it all and on this platform it would be absolutely epic!!!
