I was fined even though I didn't keep a fish

At approximately 845 I caught large mouth bass on mud water river and I DONT HAVE A LICENSE IM NOT HUNTING FOR BASS I THREW IT BACK AND THE GAME STILL FINED MEEEEEE I WANT COMPENSATION.... Cause I've been having a lot of bugs happen today an this is the icing on the cake. It's ironic I just spent 5$ on the game then I started having tons of issues. Fish aren't staying on the hook with no alert that I didn't keep tension- when I did. I'm stressing over a god damn game and I shouldn't be this was supposed to be a relaxing game but I'm just having tons of issues and y'all are robbing me of my peace.

Not quite understanding what you're saying, but if you're fishing without a license you'll have a high chance of being fined for any fish you catch (whether you keep it or let it go doesn't matter, the not having a current license does), save yourself some grief and buy a 1 day advanced license.
