But it won’t let me login to my epic account on the steam version. Can someone clarify this with me. I am trying to make a purchase on steam for the game but I’d like it to transfer over to the epic games account. Quote

You would need to purchase the DLC on the relevant platform to use it there, otherwise the platform owners wouldn't get their "cut" when you use their payment system. Short answer: No. Quote
