Game freezing

   Tried to play last night 8/30/17, and the game froze up on me three times withing 30 minutes. Also, when I was snagged and tried to cut my line, I kept pressing the X button and nothing would happen.

You don't have to cut the line raise the reels tension up then reel it in and  it will unsnag.O is to cut line.

You hit O to cut, then X to confirm. And it wouldn't unsnag by doing what you suggested. Trust me I tried.

     Game froze up and glitched on me again last night.  When casting the line disappeared and I wasn't able to reel in. Couldn't get to any menu screen because I was in cast mode though you couldn't see anything but my rod.

Yet a day can't go by without a freeze. Texas lake, first cast. 900pm Monday night. Awesome.

UPDATE : played today for five houres without any freez or bugs, the game is perfect now

Hi the game is still constantly freezing on the ps4, i would like to spend money on the game but not if this continues. please could you work on an update to fix this, also there is no vibration.i have been try to play all day but keeps freezing.

I've had a similar issue where I cast the line & nothing happens. Can't go to the menu, can't reel, etc. I thought I'd have to quit the game, however I figured since I probably had to do that, I might as well see what happens if I open my media player while in that particular game & the game is suspended. Fishing Planet being always connected, it would naturally lose the connection to the server. What I wanted to know was whether I lost any progress, etc. So, in this latest freeze that occurred just moments ago, I opened the PS4 media player, selected the music I wanted to listen to & went back to the game. It did lose the connection, but once it reconnected & I was back in the game, I discovered it was still the same time of day (in-game) as when it froze/glitched and I still had all the fish on my stringer that I had before and I was able to continue fishing. Hope this helps!
