Please add bite alarms to the shop

Recommended Posts

so we don't have to watch the floats the whole time, it would alert the angler if there is bite activity.

please consider it. thanks :)

How would that work without making it an auto-catch type of thing? Even using the floats you have to be relatively quick with setting the hook.

i have agree with icerunner, we don't need this type of thing. having something alerting you like sign on screen saying strike or etc. takes feel out of the game. like in real life you watch floater and set hook when know fish has hit it. i like way things are feels like real life.

Maybe, but when bottom-fishing/feeder rods are introduced, you're definitely going to want bite alarms for those, seeing as you cast them and then put them down for sometimes hours.

Bite alarms are generally used for 'specimen' Carp fishing where you can sit for hours/days for just one fish! Do you really want to do that in this game? lol. There wouldn't be one American left playing the game after 1 week!

Said 'tongue in cheek'. If this game has taught me anything it's that Americans get very impatient if they have to sit/stand still and not catch anything for 10 min's! lol.
