I have read that they were awful to deal with for PC users so will probably be the same for PS4, if not worse. One simple post to acknowledge the issue and to say that they will try their best to resolve isn't too much to ask for.

Appears to be fixed on ps4. Able to catch cats in Missouri now anyway. Wasn't able to before. Anyone else having any luck elsewhere?

So I went back to North Carolina, went into a public random lobby, same peg (great parking) and immediately had the same issue of hooking a fish and then it disappearing 3 time in a row, I then went to a private lobby - same spot, same gear and it seems to work fine, caught 4 fish in a row with no problems?????

Anyone else want to try a private room if they are having issues to see if it fixes it for them too?

A completely random guess but perhaps if someone in your lobby has bad connection latency issues???

I had great luck last night, and the bug hit this morning. Girlfriend has been on my account at least 5 hours today, I tried for an hour at lunch. Nothing. A few tinies caught in colorado with bobber rods, but absolutely zero on moving bait

Seems to be fixed in a private room now. No sign of restitution for all the money we lost today though.

It just worked for a few minutes in private room, caught a few fish. Now it does the same bug, but it immediately says bait was eaten. Then I caught a few more. Could have been too big of hook. All this with bobber gear though, bout to try swim bait...

I've had the same problem with lure and or bobber fishing not in competition and it's been like a week they still haven't tried to fix it.
