PH_Bear
Let’s pretend for a second that you’re an avid fisherman and you just hit the virtual lottery. You own a “Lucky Seven” or “Vault” rod case already. Cash is no factor and you can fill it any way that suites your style from the Fishing Planet inventory. There’s seven slots to fill. What elite rods and reels would you choose for your next monster fish hunt? You may line and equip them if you like. Be detailed in your list for the equipment. PH_Bear
Found this spreadsheet with Rods and available/relevant Reels at Oddgamerz.com http://oddgamerz.net/index.php?/fishing-planet/balanced-combinations.html/ Might look through it this weekend and formulate a rig(s). Hope someone finds this spreadsheet useful. Personally, I find building setups easier off line than in game. Not sure why, I just do. Marshall_Maz
Well something I am struggling to find is a setup for my main lakes I frequent visit. This requires Rod: lure weight 7g - 42g , Line weight: 2.5kg - 10kg , Reel: 9.5kg. And just swap line as needed from 3.5kg to 9.1kg That one rod reel combo will make it possible to fish all my favorites with one setup. But I guess it's a bit much to expect a rod with such a big lure weight range though hehehe. Line weight I could find some , but that dang lure weight is always out of range at bottom or top hehehehe My favorites I want this for btw is NY , Oregon , Florida , Michigan. All the fun casting fish I will be able to get with that from common to trophy level. And will be able to do some of my less favorites such as Neherin River , Alberta as well. I always find that lure weight gives me the most headaches in a multiple lure size setup. Line weight and reel drag is never much of an issue. So now I always have about 4 different rod/reel setups for my favourite lakes. Edited September 28, 2017 by Marshall_Maz
PH_Bear
Put this together as my #1 Heavy Float Rig. If ya'll can advise how it can be improved ie: rod/reel line, please let me/us know. Setting this one up to survive the biggest game fish available. Is there something better and available that suites the purpose?
