before double xp weekend i could fill my 200kg keeper in Kaniq creek easily in half day but when they released double xp weekend i am really struggling to get even 100-150kg of fish. just spent 2days and tried everything and got total of 173kg fish in 2days.

I see same affect other players too cause they are saying "its best peak time but no fish" and then they just leave after awhile. I know its not cause baits or lures cause I've basically tried em all out what used to work last week but not anymore.

so did devs downgrade fish spawn/bite % before double XP event or did ppl just caught all the fishes from the river?

I've always had that happen in Kaniq Creek. Good days, and terrible days. I don't really go there often anymore because it's so inconsistent - some people get amazing catch rates, while others (doing the same things using the same gear during the same times) get almost nothing. For what it's worth, Alaska is the only waterway where I've experienced this - all the others are pretty consistent.
