I've asked that same question regarding PS4/PC/Steam cross platform in other multiplayer entertainment and the common issue always pointed tp Sony's restrictions and licensing. It would be cool for obvious reasons combining the two with the possible inclusion of Xbox in the future as well into one community but honestly feel the closest we're going to get (as one community) is the forums. And even that needs some tweaking to get it right imo. Quote
