Derrick Miller Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 I am posting here because I just can't leave this waterway! So, here is what I wanted to say. Thank you for a brilliant game and generous community! The depth of the game astounds me. Just spent the morning session in North Carolina snagging largemouth with the popper and netted three trophy bass in the process. Still haven't chased uniques and right now I am taking a break, setting up for a night session with the big cats. Best of luck, and again, thank you to the devs and the community. 2 1 Quote

PetiteOie Posted December 2, 2017 Report Posted December 2, 2017 In the species list, Carp is listed as << young, common> but I think there are only youngsters, and, eventually, it is a tiny inexactitude . If any veteran player can confirm that it will be fine to have a look and correct. or add some medium sized carps to NC. Quote

Take a look at the leaderboard, there are both "young and common", however the larger of the two (Common's) are difficult to locate, I suggest you try the area with the car/truck, #1 or 1/0 hook with peas. Goog luck. Quote

kdog013 Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 (edited) The only screenshots I have here on my pc were from a cloudy night at around midnight. I can't say for sure about the other peaks/weather. I went with shiners on a #6/0 hook at 99", standing behind the sunken truck on the left hand side and cast back into the main part of the river, just beyond the patch of weeds that's in front of you against the bank. PH_Carpman99 Posted Monday at 10:50 AM Report Posted Monday at 10:50 AM The Redfin Pickerel can be found near the weedbeds located in front of the truck at the Great Parking Job spawn point, they don't get very big so keeping the hooks small is advised (1/0 - 3/0), casting lures, jigheads with a shad, grub or worm attached should work. Try keeping the lure in the surface to mid-depth area (maybe try a twitching retrieve). A small minnow on a bobber setup may also work. The American Shad are found in the main river, probably easiest to use a light bobber (float) setup, baits like maggots, spawn sack or shrimp can work fished near to the surface, maybe using hook sizes in the #10 - #4 range. Allow the float to be carried along with the current. GL. Quote
